Seated throwing
F57 is the seated throwing class for athletes who meet the relevant MIC but do not match the F51-F56 profiles.
Athletes competing in this class must meet one or more of the following Minimum Impairment Criteria: Lower Limb deficiency as described in Section 2.1.4.1; a loss of lower limb PROM as described in Section 2.1.5.1; muscle power impairment in the lower limb as described in Section 2.1.6.1; Leg Length Difference as described in Section 2.1.7. Athletes who do not fit the sport class profiles F51-F56 but meet the MIC for seated throwing Events fall in the F57 class.
