Professional foundation
Classcope was founded by Iván V., an international classifier for athletes with physical and intellectual impairments with more than 10 years of experience in Para sport classification.
His academic background includes a Bachelor in Sport Science and an International Master’s in Adapted Physical Activity. Together with his classification experience, this background shapes the structure, terminology, quality control and source-first approach behind Classcope.
Classcope is not presented as personal opinion. Its purpose is to organise and surface authoritative classification information with clear sourcing, version awareness and careful separation between official rules and Classcope analysis.
What Classcope is not
Classcope is not an International Federation, a classification authority or an authorised Classification Panel. It does not issue official eligibility decisions, Sport Classes or Sport Class Status.
Official decisions remain with the relevant governing bodies and authorised classification personnel. Classcope’s role is to make the information around those decisions easier to access, connect, compare and understand.
