Classcope explanation
Physical Impairment class for freestyle, backstroke and butterfly. Para Swimming allocates the Sport Class on the basis of point scores obtained after the Physical Assessment, Technical Assessment and, if required, Observation in Competition Assessment. S5 corresponds to a final point score of 141 to 165.

Following the Physical Assessment, Technical Assessment and (if required) the Observation in Competition Assessment, the Athlete is allocated a Sport Class on the basis of the following scores:
